piano learning 1 No talented and Untalented in Piano LearningImagine there was no music in the world.  No one sang.  No one played instruments.  No one listened to beautiful melodies, piano song or danced to powerful rhythms.  Everyone devoted his or her time towards logic, mathematics, reading, writing, science.  All forms of play would have to be outlawed, because play the piano and the melody of music arise from the same basic instinct – to create, to express, to experiment, to be alive!  It is no coincidence that music is of the central importance in so many cultures of the world.  To many, music and piano learning is not just an important part of life – music is life itself.   Music is alive by singing, playing the piano and creating sounds we become more alive.



Still I am encouraging parents to get their children have an exposure in piano learning because:-
1. Piano Learning and music learning belongs to all children, not just a few.
2. Piano Lessons and music supports learning.
3. Piano Learning and Music builds personal and cultural identity – music builds community.

There is no separation of talent and untalented in Piano Learning
In most part of the world there is no separation between talented and untalented.  Everyone has musical ability in piano learning.   All children should have ample opportunity to express themselves through music and piano learning, to think through music and piano learning, and to find themselves through music and piano learning.  Every classroom should be a musical environment in piano learning.

Music Charges the Brain
New research in the field of learning is showing what ancient cultures have known all along – that music is much more than recreational filler.  Music and piano learning brings brain power!  Music strengthens attentions spans, aids memory, and provides creative outlets..  Music and piano learning is good for us. It is good for our brains, our bodies, and our spirits.

Beginning in the womb, a child is surrounded by sound.  Of the five sense, the ears are the most active before birth.  Only the shortest hairs of the cochlea have developed at this stage, providing the fetus the ability to hear only the highest of sounds, primarily the percussive consonants of words.  The phrase “percussive consonance” would be heard only as Pe-Ku-Ss-fv Ko-Ss-nSs.  Low sounds like the heart are felt, but not heard.  Floating in water, the fetus bathes in the sounds of parents’ voices and surrounding sounds.  Just as the umbilical cord is providing nutrients for the child to grow physically, the sounds provide needed resonance for the mind to grow.

The ears has three purposes, not two.  It is now believed that in addition to balance the hearing, the ear also serves as a charger for the brain.  The desire to learn is equated with the desire to listen.  Listening is a skill of great importance.   The child who no longer desires to listen, no longer desire to learn.  The music child, however, develops a hunger for listening and learning equal to a hunger for nutrition.

Piano Learning is important in cultivate the children talent in the early stage.  The ability to hear sounds silently in the head is an essential skill for children, particularly in their transition to silent reading.
