Kris Dayanti-Menghitung Hari (piano improvisation by Gaius)

The original of this song was sung by Kris Dayanti, Indonesian. I heard this song in year 2000 and started to play this piece on piano since then. I’ve now played it again after 8 years, on a casio WK1800 76 keys keyboard (input) and with VST output of course. Purpose of this clip: to entertain people with my passion in playing piano.

    Nice work. is the original key of the song G major too? I can only play in C and G now. You have any idea how to play in other keys? is it just practice and practice? hehe..

    I think the original key is G major. It is no longer a problem for only able to play in G major and C major after the development of digital piano. You can always transpose to the key you like.

    You just need to learn to play the major scale of the key you want to play in. Practice until with the speed of at least 120. Then you can start to apply the songs u heard using that scale;)

    I have the same keyboard, and I played Apologize on it too, but it doesn’t sound that way. This is the nes keyboard? Sounds like a real piano.

    I used piano vst for the sound. That is why it sounds like real grand piano;)

    Hi! Nice work! I’ve planned to by the same keyboard. Can you explain to amateur (=me), how do you use that piano VST with this keyboard? Do you need a computer or what?

    You definitely need a computer to use VST instrument.

    Firstly you need to buy a keyboard with MIDI output that allow you to connect your keyboard to your computer. Modern keyboard comes with USB output which is easier to connect to computer by using USB cable.

    Mine was old model, therefore, I need to use MIDI out USB in cable to connect between my keyboard and computer.

    VST plugin is a software/sound module that will generate sound when triggered by the input from your keyboard.
